Grilled Pork Shoulder Steak Recipe with Right Way BBQ Seasonings
Ingredients:
- 3 pork shoulder steak, cut from a pork butt (about 1-1.5 inches thick)
- Right Way BBQ Terrific Pork Rub
- Right Way BBQ Midnight Kick Rub
- Lump charcoal
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Big Green Egg:
- Fill the Big Green Egg with lump charcoal and light it up. Allow the grill to heat up to a temperature of around 400°F for direct grilling.
2. Season the Pork Shoulder Steak:
- Generously season both sides of the pork shoulder steak with Right Way BBQ Terrific Pork Rub as the base layer.
- Follow up with a secondary layer of Right Way BBQ Midnight Kick Rub to add an extra depth of flavor and a little heat.
3. Grill the Steak:
- Place the seasoned pork shoulder steak directly over the hot coals on the Big Green Egg.
- Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, creating a nice sear and allowing the flavors to caramelize.
4. Monitor the Internal Temperature:
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steak. Once it reaches 145°F, remove the steak from the grill.
5. Rest the Steak:
- Let the steak rest for about 10-15 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute and ensure a juicy, flavorful bite.
6. Serve:
- Slice the pork shoulder steak against the grain and serve hot. Enjoy the bold flavors of Terrific Pork and Midnight Kick!
