- 1 whole chicken
- 1 can of lager beer (half full)
- Base layer of Midnight Kick BBQ Rub
- Secondary layer of Terrific Pork BBQ Rub


1. **Prepare the Chicken:**
- Remove any giblets from the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

2. **Season the Chicken:**
- Apply a generous base layer of Midnight Kick BBQ Rub all over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- Follow with a secondary layer of Terrific Pork BBQ Rub, adding an extra kick of flavor.

3. **Prepare the Beer Can:**
- Open the can of lager beer and pour out (or drink!) half of it, leaving the can half full.
- Place the half-full can on a sturdy surface.

4. **Position the Chicken:**
- Carefully lower the chicken onto the beer can, inserting the can into the cavity of the chicken. The chicken should sit upright with the can supporting it.

5. **Cook the Chicken:**
- Preheat your grill to 350°F.
- Place the beer can chicken on the grill, standing upright. Close the grill lid.
- Cook the chicken at 350°F for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the thigh.

6. **Serve:**
- Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
